New Year…resolutions

Happy New Year!!!!
It’s goodbye 2007 :cry: and welcome 2008 :razz: !!! Another year for learning and growing purposively. Lots of chances to start anew — to do away with old habits that delay a productive life, to stay fit and keep a healthy lifestyle, etc., etc., etc… hmmmmm… Everybody can do changes. As long as we “put our hearts into it”. Even the Care Bears would agree! :smile:
What this new year will bring us is something for us to wait and see. But it does not mean that we’ll just sit and relax and wait for an apple to fall. As one of the inspiring quotes I’ve heard says, “You may be on the right track but you may be sidetracked if you just sit on it.” A good food for thought, isn’t it?
For that we need action. ==> …ok, rolling, …lights, …camera, ……AAAAACTION!!
Well, it’s not that kind that we need to do where others are to see and watch us. We need to focus on plans and actions that make us a better person than last year even without anyone looking. Maybe, just like a tree that changes in season, we could all let go of those bad habits and start building up new ones, keeping in mind that the new actions will be towards our personal growth–mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, (financially also with organized effort and as God provides!) and the growth too of those people around us and those we get to meet everyday.
For this new year, I’d like to keep in mind this word combinations: “Live life, love life, share life” together with the legacy our “Itay” taught us (think ahead, look ahead, go ahead). We are just passing this life once but we can always have the chance to touch someone’s life.
With due respect to whoever you are who wrote it and my friend who sent the following text message, I’d like to post this message here so that others may also be reminded: (By the way, Thanks for this Ags! :wink: )

TIPS FOR A HEALTHY LIFE:
1. More vegetables, less meat;
2. More vinegar, less salt;
3. More fruits, less sweets;
4. Chew more, eat less;
5. More water, less soda;
6. More deeds, less talk;
7. More sharing, less desires;
8. More walk, less rides;
9. More laughter, less anger;
10. More prayers, NO worries!

Here’s to a New Year of opportunities to learn, to grow, to love, to share our lives with others and those we love most. :grin: God bless!!!
